Workshops:

Revere Glass offers intensive workshops with other prominent artists from around the country. These workshops offer students a chance to learn specific techniques from the pioneers of our industry.

We also offer observer spots in workshop. This is for an intermediate or advanced student who does not need to blow glass and can learn just by watching, asking questions and taking notes.

2010 workshops

Eusheen June 18th-20th 2010

Eusheen will be teaching a variety of advanced construction techniques and patterns. Each student will have a chance to work one on one with Eusheen. Price: $600 for all three days. Materials not included. RGS will be open from 10am-12am during the workshop. There will be between 6 and 8 students in this class

Dustin Revere August 20th-22nd

Revere will teaching classical pipe and goblet techniques, including figurative sculpture, construction and advanced pattern work. Each student will have a chance to work one on one with Revere. Price: $600 for all three days. Materials not included. RGS will be open from 10am-12am during the workshop. There will be between 6 and 8 students in this class

Dave Strobel December 10th-12th

Strobel will Be teach advanced murrine work. This will focus on the concept and construction of the murrine. Each student will have a chance to work one on one with Strobel. Price: $600 for all three days. Materials not included. RGS will be open from 10am-12am during the workshop. There will be between 6 and 8 students in this class

One to One Lessons

One to One Lesson's are a great way to get improve your skills in goblet making, bead making, solid and hallow sculpture, murrine, Vessel construction and stylization. At RGS we take pride in being able to offer classes in any of the verity of lampworking disciplines. Please call us for specific questions on techniques or classes.

(Oxygen/Propane and all Materials Included). These classes are one-on-one instruction. Each students needs are taken into consideration. Classes are Beginner to expert level. The lessons are sold per 1 hour. You can buy your days in bulk to save money. The days can be nonconsecutive, and do not expire. Classes are taught every day all year. Please call to register.

We usually do 4 to 6 hour blocks of instruction. A student working full time will use the 100 hour package in one month.

$65 per hour of personalized instruction. The teacher and student decide on suitable subject matter according to your specific needs.

Pipe Making

All pipe making classes 1 through 3 are a $2800 value for the special price of $2420. The Pipe making group is designed to provide the skills necessary to start a carrier in glass. All Pipe making 1 through 3 are taught in 5 hour instructional blocks. Each pipe making class 1 through 3 comes with 12 days of studio rental time for practice.

Intro to Pipe Making-$999

Intro to pipe making is a great way to get into glass. This class has 8, 3 hour lessons. We will start by getting familiar with the glass, then move into basic shaping and basic color techniques.

Pipe Making 1-$2420

The pipe making 1 class is great for people just starting in glass. It provides a solid foundation of proper work habits to build on.

Pipe Making 2-$2420

The pipe making 2 class is designed for intermediate glass blowers. Students must take pipe making 1 or have previous experience. In this class students will start to refine there techniques and devolpe new skills.

7. Large flat cane

Pipe Making 3-$2420

Pipe making 3 is for the refinement of skills and preparation for setting up your own studio. In pipe making 3 we go over advanced techniques and preparation for the professional glass blower.

Studio Rental

$60 per day

To pursue your own interests, time can be rented on a daily basis. Access to a torch and kiln is provided. Oxygen and propane are also included. Open for use from 12pm until 6 pm
